It was hot out like it was every day, when the sun rose high above the savana. Dry grass all was what gave way to this prairie so to speak of sand, and scarch dirt. Made up mostly of sand, and sharp plants that would prick and poke at ones feet. Gazzelles and other animals ran, or walked lazily about. For Marcus he had just eatten, so he wasn't in need of a hunt or food. It was to hot at the moment to want to do much of anything. His light fur, almost pure white in the sun gave way and glimmered slightly. While the bugs buzzed past him annoyingly causing him to bat his ears and flick his tail to keep them away. Green eyes searching for a place of refuge from the sun, perhaps a rock covering or even a savanna tree to hide him from the suns rays till later. He hadn't seen another like him around these parts for ever.
Sometimes it made him wonder if he was the only one left. The thought made him shutter as he growled low in his throat looking upwards towards the sky in a squint. The buzzards having came in behind him to circle the prey he had freshly killed and didn't finish. They were there to just pick and peck at the scraps of flesh and bone that was left behind. Large paws padded through the dry grass and sand, finally spotting a savanna shade tree he picked up his pace. Muscles rolling under his fur as he growled and snarled happily. Each shoulder rising and falling as he sniffed the air, to make sure another hadn't already claimed this as home. Seeing the coast was clear he turned panting abit as he made way to settle himself into the tall grass. The brown in his white fur, now in the shade barely making him visible as he stretched lazily looking around.
his mind drifting as he laid his head down on his paws. Yawning, but keeping his ears up and alert in case of a intruder or perhaps he needed to get up in a hurry. So as to not be surprised by the fact that, someone may be able sneaked up on him. he felt alone, lost perhaps? as if a part of him was missing? what was it? how could he tell? maybe it was the fact that he hadn't seen another like him around these parts since he was only a cub. With his mother and father, and his two sisters. Whom died shortly after birth, because his mom had killed them due to something being wrong with them. Growling with a low snarl he yawned slowly drifting into a very light cat nap.
